Getting here

The Bull on the Green is located on The Green, Newick, East Sussex, BN8 4LA, in the centre of the village. Free on-site parking is available with one disabled space. There is a bus stop within walking distance of the venue, opposite the green.

Arriving at the venue

The main entrance is at the front of the building facing the village green. There is one small elevated step. The entrance doors are double-width. Please note the building is a 16th-century coaching inn, and some original features such as uneven floors, low beams and stepped thresholds are present throughout.

Inside the venue

The bar and restaurant areas are on the ground floor. There is ample room to manoeuvre between tables and seating is flexible — no chairs are permanently fixed. We are happy to rearrange furniture to accommodate wheelchair users or those with mobility aids. Please let us know in advance and we will make sure everything is ready for your arrival.

Menus are available as hand-held printed menus. Large print menus are available on request. Digital menus can be provided on request.

Accessible room

We have a ground floor room with disabled access and a wet room available. This room should be requested at the time of booking to ensure availability. Please call us directly on 01825 722743 to discuss your requirements.

Rooms — general

Our remaining eight boutique rooms are located on the upper floors of the inn via stairs. Due to the historic nature of the building, some rooms feature low beams, uneven floors and narrow doorways. We are happy to advise on the most suitable room for your needs. Please contact us before booking.

Toilets

There is an accessible ground floor toilet in the pub.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the venue.
